Mothering the Mother

A Monthly Yoga, Meditation & Sound Bath Experience

You give so much. This is your space to receive.

Mothering the Mother is a monthly 90-minute sanctuary created for those who nurture, hold, and care for others—whether you are a mother to young or older children, communities, or simply to your own life now. This offering is a mothers’ group with a difference—one that centres you.

It is a dedicated time to step away from the demands of caregiving and intentionally reconnect with yourself, your body, and a supportive community.

Through mindful movement, guided meditation, and a deeply restorative sound bath, you’ll be supported in slowing down, softening, and being held—remembering that you, too, deserve care.

Dates & Bookings

Held on the last Thursday of each month, this is a gentle invitation to organise care for little ones, give yourself permission to be nourished, and arrive fully for yourself.

After the session, you are warmly invited to bring your lunch and linger, sitting among the peaceful grounds and pine forest of Vera Wellness—a chance to not rush, breathe deeply, and FEEL into your full cup.

The Experience

We begin by gathering in an opening women’s circle, creating a sense of safety, connection, and shared presence. From there, we move into gentle yoga, followed by a guided meditation and a deeply restorative sound bath—allowing your nervous system to soften and settle.

💞 Gentle, Nourishing Yoga
Slow, accessible movement designed to release tension, support the nervous system, and reconnect you to your body with compassion.

💞 Guided Meditation
A grounding, heart-centered meditation to help quiet the mind, cultivate inner safety, and invite rest.

💞 Immersive Sound Bath
Using varies sound bowls and soothing sound tracks to guide you into deep relaxation, integration, and restoration.

Each session unfolds at an unhurried pace, allowing space for rest, reflection, and renewal.

Why ‘Mothering the Mother’?

So often, those who care for others put themselves last. This experience is about turning that care inward—honouring your needs, your emotions, and your body without guilt or expectation.

This is not about fixing or striving.
It’s about resting, receiving, and being gently supported in an environment that has been intentionally designed to bring your nervous system back into a state of regulation, to replenish YOU, the soul underneath the title of Mum

We then invite you to watch how your regulation ripples outward into your households and relationships. A grounded mother is foundational to the emotional health of her family because it shapes how safety, connection and stress are experienced in the home.

This Experience Is For You If You Are:

  • Feeling depleted, overwhelmed, or overstimulated

  • Longing for deep rest and nervous system regulation

  • Wanting a monthly ritual of self-care and grounding

  • Seeking connection—to yourself and to a supportive community

  • Craving a softer, slower approach to wellness
