Psychology

Our psychology service at Vera Wellness provides thoughtful, evidence-based care within a holistic, multidisciplinary framework. As clinical psychologists, our practitioners have completed advanced postgraduate training and clinical registrar programs, enabling them to assess and treat more complex and severe mental health presentations.

Importantly, patients referred under a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan are eligible for higher Medicare rebates with clinical psychologists under the Medicare Better Access Scheme.

Our Approach

We work from a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming and whole-person perspective. Psychological distress does not occur in isolation — it intersects with physical health, identity, relationships, life stage, social context and systems of care.

Therapy with us is collaborative, structured and deeply personalised. We focus on understanding your internal blueprint — the patterns, adaptations and protective responses that have shaped you, so that change can emerge from clarity rather than reactivity.

We provide comprehensive clinical assessment and, where appropriate, neuropsychological screening to guide tailored interventions.
