Non-Diet Dietitian & Intuitive Eating Counsellor 

Lisa Carrigg is a dedicated and compassionate clinician with a passion for supporting clients in finding a more nurturing and peaceful relationship with food, eating, and the body (digestion included). As the Principle Dietitian and Director of Wander and Nourish Nutrition in Brisbane's New Farm neighborhood, Lisa leads a weight-inclusive practice that embraces a variety of approaches, including Intuitive Eating, to help clients heal from diet culture and reconnect with their body's wisdom.

She holds a Masters in Nutrition and is both an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (AUS), Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (USA) and supervisor. Her training includes a focus on the non-diet approach and whole person care. She is additionally a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, a CEDC (Certified Eating Disorder Clinician) and has completed other trainings including in body image work and FODMAP Training with Monash University.

Lisa's commitment to helping individuals find a more peaceful relationship with food, eating and their body includes consideration for the emotional and psychological impact digestive conditions such as IBS, binge eating disorder, disordered eating and PCOS can have alongside the impact of the person’s experience in and with their body on their symptoms. She believes Everybody and every body deserves compassionate care and support to eat and move in ways that best nurture their unique needs, respect their lived experience and their preferences.

Outside of her professional endeavours, Lisa finds joy in various activities. She has a deep love for hiking, enjoys swimming, camping and the way these things allow her to connect with nature and recharge her spirit. Lisa also teaches mat pilates and barre, savours the controversial combination of pepperoni pizza with pineapple and is always up for a long leisurely meal shared with people she loves.
